JOHN FOWLER

John went to Brunswick High School in Maryland. He was an All-League shortstop during the 1984-86 seasons.  In 1986 he was Frederick County Player of the Year.  John was drafted in 1986 by the Baltimore Orioles.  He chose to go to Frederick Community College where he was an All-State Junior College player for his two years there.  John was again drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 1988. John played in the Appalachian League, Midwest League, and the Carolina League over a three year Minor League career.  

After John's playing days, he got into coaching.  John has been coaching various youth sports, specializing in baseball for the past 20 years.
