PATRICK SMITH

Patrick grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He played for Heartland Community College in 2016 and 2017. He completed his Associates Degree then continued his playing career and education at Purdue University in 2018 and 2019. He was an academic All-Big Ten award winner for two years. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Sociology.  On the field at Purdue he won four games, pitched 60 innings and struck out 70 batters his senior year. He was selected in the 33rd round by the Kansas City Royals in 2019. He made his professional debut last year for the Burlington Royals. Patrick reached the AA level with the Kansas City Royals before retiring in 2022.

Patrick has a variety of coaching experience. He has done private instruction with players of all skill sets, helped with showcases back at Purdue University and coached a 14 U team in Texas in the Summer of 2020 while training in Houston.

Patrick is available for private instruction, instruction at camps and special events and helps with the Badgers pitchers year-round.
