Softball Pitching Instructor
Anaya earned three varsity letters at Burlington Township High School in Burlington, New Jersey. During her high school career, she primarily served as the starting center fielder and a relief pitcher. She earned her a spot on the Second-Team All-State roster. Outside of high school ball, Anaya played for the nationally ranked New Jersey Gators, a premier club softball organization.
Following graduation, Anaya began her collegiate career at Central Connecticut State University, competing at the NCAA Division I level as a relief pitcher. After her freshman year, she transferred to Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. Anaya was named to the Dean’s List for three consecutive years and received numerous accolades in recognition of her performance.
At Morgan State, Anaya served as the team’s starting pitcher during the 2022 and 2023 seasons and concluded her collegiate career in 2024 as the starting left fielder. In her 3 years, she was named MEAC Pitcher of the Week 13 times and earned back-to-back titles as MEAC Pitcher of the Year in 2022 and 2023. She was also selected for the All-MEAC First Team (2022, 2023) and the All-Tournament Team (2023). In addition, Anaya was honored as Morgan State’s Female Athlete of the Year and Softball MVP in 2022.
Anaya holds multiple records at Morgan State, including the record for most strikeouts in a single game, a record she beat twice, and the honor of throwing the first perfect game in program history. She ended her career in May 2024 by helping the Morgan State Lady Bears to a MEAC Championship title.
