Brian graduated from Broadneck High School in Annapolis in 1989. After graduating Broadneck he attended Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) where he led the nation with the lowest ERA among pitchers in 1990. He pitched at the University of Texas for the Longhorns and the University of Tampa. He graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis on anatomy and physiology and kinesiology as it relates to overhead throwing.  After graduating college he pitched professionally for seven seasons in the Minor Leagues and Independent Leagues. 

Brian has been a pitching coach at the high school and collegiate level. He coached high school at Countryside High School in Florida and collegiately at Anne Arundel CC and Hillsborough CC in Florida. With close to 30 years of study on overhead baseball throwing, he developed a protocol for throwing and a technique for rehab/prehab for throwers called The Reverse Sling Shot ©.  This system is multiple drills emphasizing primary (big) muscle groups in the overhead throw featuring innovative teaching designed to adapt the thrower to most efficient movements of the joints involved with throwing. He has received other throwing related certifications through the years.
